Cookie Day!
Saturday, February 18, was Girl Scout Cookie Day here in Kenosha! For the last several years at Otto Nelson we have donated our warehouse and 4-5 employees to receive and help load up all cookies sold in our area. This year it was just under 12,000 cases of cookies!
Proud of Our Local Girls
The Girl Scout council in our area does a fantastic job coordinating their volunteers and setting up for Friday before “Cookie Day” to pre-pack all of their cookie orders. They assign pick-up times to the girl scouts’ parents throughout the day. We have two pick-up stations set up, with two men from our service crew on each station. The parents arrive, verify their cookie order counts, and our teams help load their vehicles. We had numerous mini vans leaving with just enough space for someone to sit! Want to see more pictures?
